FAQ
What kind of event is this?
Behind The Image is an independantly produced, in-person moderated series. Each event is a slow, seated discussion with a talented guest photographer, showcasing their best work and focused on the stories and experiences behind their most powerful images.
Who is this for? Do I need to have photography experience?
No prior knowledge is required.
This series is open to photographers and non-photographers alike — including those particularly interested in travel, culture, storytelling, and visual work more broadly. How long does each event last?
Events run approximately two hours, including arrival and closing. Doors open early to allow the room to settle.
Will the photographer show their entire portfolio?

We ask that phones remain away during the conversation.
Occasional documentation may be captured by the organizers, but personal recording or photography during the event isn’t permitted unless explicitly stated.
